Natmandap took the initiative of helping those hit by the devastating floods in Bihar in August 2008. Local people of SRI Krishna Nagar colony gathered to help the victims of flood in the region of Purnia, Araria and Saharsa. People donated clothes, food, grain, medicines and basic amenities. More than 2000 people came together to help the cause. On the last day of the camp, Medha Patekar came to visit the camp and give her support. A team of seven volunteers went to give aid to the flood victims. Almost 20 tons of items were distributed among the people hit by floods.
